FAQs

Is it difficult to maintain water quality?
Is it difficult to maintain water quality?
Though all Spas require some simple chemical maintenance, such as testing the water's PH, the process should be easy and stress-free for you. When looking at a hot tub you're interested in, ask a sales person to explain your water care options.
Why should I test and treat water in Spa?
Why should I test and treat water in Spa?
Tap water that is safe to drink is not always right for your Spa. Normal tap water usually contains minerals and micro-contaminants that are not visible to the naked eye. Properly testing and treating your Spa water is essential for the health of your Spa as well as the people who use it.
How to maintain Spa water?
How to maintain Spa water?
There are three most common ways to maintain your Spa water. 1.Traditional Chlorine - This popular type of water sanitation uses a chlorine formula especially formulated for hot tubs to cleanse impurities from the water 2.Ozone System - Known by many different names depending on the brand, these systems reduce the need for chlorine by generating a high concentration of ozone that thoroughly cleans Spa water on contact. 3.Silver ions Purifiers - There are different ways to infuse the Spa water with silver and copper, but once infused the silver and copper act as a bioside and stop bacteria from growing.
What is the ideal pH level for Spas?
What is the ideal pH level for Spas?
Proper pH balance is extremely important in controlling bacteria, providing water that’s comfortable for the user, and in preventing damage to the spa and its equipment. Using the scale of 0-14, pH is the measure of acidity and alkaline in the water. pH levels under 7.0 are acidic while pH levels over 7.0 are alkaline. The proper pH range for a spa is 7.2 to 7.6.
Can I use a hot tub all year round?
Can I use a hot tub all year round?
Yes, you can use the tub throughout the year, but it may need to be drained and cleaned depending on where you live. In warmer climates, especially in mild winters, it is safe to leave your hot tub in the ground year-round. However, if you live in an area with freezing temperatures or snowfall, it is recommended that you drain your hot tub and store it indoors during the winter months. This will prevent damage from freezing and allow for maintenance work such as cleaning and draining before the following season.
